Job summary

KeyBank in Brooklyn, OH is seeking a Real Time Payments (RTP) and Wire Transfer Services specialist to provide production support, investigate, and coordinate workflows across the RTP platform. You will act as a subject matter expert and guide the team in daily operations.

This role focuses on researching wire requests, communicating with partners and clients, and managing electronic transfers between banks while adhering to SLA and regulatory requirements. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of payment processing.
• Working knowledge of Wire and RTP laws & regulations.
• Ability to follow internal procedures with regulatory requirements.
• Skilled navigating multiple systems to address problems.
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Proven ability to work with technology or systems.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience managing client-facing deliverables with SLA requirements.
• Ability to quickly understand new concepts and procedures.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and follow up.

Responsibilities

• Research online and in repositories according to SLA terms.
• Navigate payment channels including OLDs and Hogan.
• Assist clients and reduce errors while preventing privacy breaches.
• Answer calls to inquire about wire transactions and initiate wires.
• Manage multiple investigation cases in RTP & Wire Transfer systems.
• Perform secondary review and release for large wire transactions.
• Identify and report suspicious activity with clients or partners.
• Develop or revise departmental procedures and reporting metrics.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance reporting and metrics.
• Handle moderately complex billing questions and service requests.
• Design and implement process improvements to solve common issues.
