Job summary

Voodoo in Paris is seeking a talented Game Designer who is deeply passionate about RPG/mid-core games to join Playbook, an agile internal studio transforming Castle Busters into a market-leading hit.

You will own features from ideation to implementation, collaborate with Product, Analytics and Art, balance gameplay, and back up ideas with data. You’ll contribute across UI/UX, game design, logic and optimization to deliver the next big hit for millions of players.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a game designer.
• Experience working on mobile games, F2P or RPG.

Responsibilities

• Own features from ideation to implementation and post-release optimization.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics and Art throughout features implementation.
• Own game balancing, pace, feel.
• Always back up your ideas with available data points.
• Ability to deconstruct and analyze mobile games mechanics.
• Get involved in all aspects of game development: UI, UX, Game Design, logic, performance, etc.
• Benchmark the market to stay on top of new trends.
• Understanding of models and tools to analyze gameplay and user behavior to inform design.
