Job summary

Voodoo, a Paris-based consumer tech company, seeks a seasoned Game Designer passionate about RPG and mid-core mobile games. You will own features from ideation to post-release optimization and work closely with Product, Analytics and Art to deliver high-quality, innovative gameplay experiences for millions of players.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in game design, experience with mobile games, and a strong English communication skill set.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in game design.
• Experience on mobile games, F2P or RPG.
• Creative mindset with attention to gameplay detail.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Own features from ideation to implementation and post-release optimization.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics and Art throughout features implementation.
• Own game balancing, pacing and feel.
• Support data-driven design with available data points.
• Deconstruct and analyze mobile game mechanics.
• Involve in UI/UX, game logic, and performance considerations.
• Benchmark the market to stay ahead of trends.
• Use tools to analyze gameplay and user behavior to inform design.
• Proficiency in Unity is a plus.
• Familiarity with Figma, Miro or similar tools.
