Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee contract performance across cost, schedule, and technical outcomes. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication.

Applicants should have a strong background in program leadership, field operations, and compliance with FAR. This role requires travel and ability to obtain a US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management or equivalent related experience.
• Ten (10) or more years’ experience in related field.
• Five (5) or more years’ supervisory experience.
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to support site operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software.
• Strong interpersonal skills including negotiation, interpersonal, and project management.
• Ability to effectively interface with various levels of employees and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the program to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations including cost, quality and schedules while maintaining company profit goals.
• Assist in all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, and salary actions.
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
• Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, and budgets; participate in contract negotiations.
• Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading review sessions on cost, schedule and technical performance.
