Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Rotary Wing Scheduler III to support the 316th Wing and Helicopter Squadron Production Control. You will help manage the rotary wing schedules, ensure on-time maintenance and flying plans, and maintain rigorous documentation in accordance with DAFI 21-101 and related directives.

You will collaborate with the Plan and Scheduling Supervisor, coordinate with supporting offices, and ensure compliance with FIAR and other audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in plans, scheduling and documentation in US military or equivalent civilian unit.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Knowledge of MS Access and Microsoft Project desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a dynamic scheduling environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (US citizenship required).
• Valid State Driver’s License (Real ID) and ability to obtain flightline license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Plan and Scheduling Supervisor with day-to-day operations of rotary wing aircraft plans and scheduling.
• Manage annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly maintenance and flying schedules; coordinate aircraft deployment and spares.
• Ensure scheduling and documentation activities comply with applicable instructions and policies.
• Prepare and review reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly flying hour/status reports.
• Attend required training and adhere to established dress code and professional standards.
• Coordinate with MAJCOM and other stakeholders to maintain FIAR compliance and file integrity.
