Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced project leader to manage the Rotary Branch, ensuring safety, integrity of company assets, and strong client relations. You will drive project execution, oversee planning and scheduling, and coordinate with senior management on proposals and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in project-related roles, at least 4 years in leadership, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction, Project, Facility Management, or related discipline preferred.
• 12+ years experience in related field; minimum 4 years in lead/supervisory/management role.
• Understanding of human resources, finance, and taxation requirements in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of federal government service contracting processes and related regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software; strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
• Travel may be required.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Rotary Branch operations including safety, safeguarding company funds, and representing the company with the customer.
• Provide project leadership under supervision of a senior PM.
• Identify problems or opportunities; analyze options and mitigate issues.
• Ensure adherence to the Work Breakdown Structure, Asset Management, and Workflow Management.
• Expand the Project Execution Plan for subsequent phases and coordinate enhancements.
• Track and report status against KPIs and contractual metrics.
• Contribute to proposal efforts by establishing project structure.
• Demonstrate command of schedule goals, milestones, and approach.
• Maintain a baseline schedule that is properly resourced.
• Know schedule tools and processes; review and manage key performance measures.
• Implement corrective actions when metrics miss service levels; meet or improve schedule targets.
• Manage progress against the plan and forecast costs and resources.
• Develop annual operating budgets with customer and finance teams; provide monthly forecasts.
• Collaborate with Business Development to expand service scope; support contract negotiations and presentations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction via regular assessments; support or deliver client communications.
