Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Massachusetts is hiring a Senior Robotics Systems Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team for a complex surgical robotic platform across hardware, software, and clinical workflows.

You will ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC standards), translate user needs into system requirements, and collaborate with HF, clinical, manufacturing and V&V teams to deliver robust product releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in multidisciplinary systems engineering.
• Experience with Class II/III medical devices preferred.
• Knowledge of embedded firmware and testing methods.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and requirements decomposition for a complex robotic system.
• Own end-to-end requirements lifecycle and traceability.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, clinical and V&V teams.
• Drive system integration and safety-critical design reviews.
• Support regulatory submissions and product launches.
