Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Senior Robotics Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineering Manager in a hybrid role based in Raynham or Boston, MA. You will lead a cross-functional team to verify and validate robotic systems against defined requirements while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality system adherence.

The role requires 7+ years in V&V for medical devices, strong systems engineering knowledge, and experience with DOORS, Jama, and Polarion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in V&V engineering within the medical device industry.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and product development lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements management tools DOORS, Jama, Polarion.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Verification & Validation and Integration Engineers to ensure robotic systems meet subsystem and system requirements.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software teams to define testable, traceable requirements.
• Develop and execute V&V strategies and master system test plans for complex medical devices.
• Coordinate engagement with external test facilities to ensure regulatory compliance.
