Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners seeks a Senior Robotics & Controls Engineer to own turnkey automation projects from design to commissioning. You will lead ground-up cell builds, in-house assembly, and site deployments, coordinating with global manufacturing partners.

The role requires 4–6 years of robotics/PLC/vision integration, proficiency with Fanuc/Yaskawa/ABB, and travel up to 40% internationally or domestically. A strong engineering degree is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year or 4-year engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Software).
• 4–6 years of dedicated robotics, PLC and vision integration experience on custom manufacturing machinery.
• Hands-on mastery of Fanuc, Yaskawa or ABB robot platforms with PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with industrial vision systems, offline simulation tools, and CAD/SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Initialize robotic platforms: set up cell configurations, calibrations, and I/O networks on Fanuc/ABB/Yaskawa.
• Design control logic and architecture for seamless PLC handshaking with equipment.
• Deploy vision systems for part guidance, inspection, and fast handling.
• Lead in-house assembly, debugging, and EOAT integration.
• Oversee field commissioning 30–40% travel domestically/internationally.
