Qualifications

• 2-year or 4-year Engineering degree (Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Software).
• 4–6 years of robotic, PLC integration experience.
• Hands-on mastery with Fanuc/Yaskawa/ABB robotics and PLC troubleshooting.
• Industrial vision systems, offline simulation tools and CAD/SolidWorks.
• Diagnose and debug complex automated machinery across robotic, electrical, fluid power and mechanical domains.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% (DL and Passport required); reside within 45 minutes of Greater Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Initialize robotic platforms: set up cell, calibrate, configure I/O networks on Fanuc/ABB/Yaskawa.
• Design control logic: develop cell architecture and PLC handshaking with master controllers.
• Deploy industrial vision: integrate and program Cognex/Keyence/iRVision for guidance and inspection.
• Lead in-house assembly and debug: oversee shop-floor assembly and EOAT integration.
• Execute field commissioning: travel domestically/internationally 30–40% to supervise on-site deployment.
• Support applications engineering: provide layout insights, cycle-time analyses, and feasibility data.
• Provide floor mentorship: coach technicians to optimize build workflows and meet specs.
