Zaddy Solutions in Milwaukee is seeking a Senior Robotics & Controls Engineer to own high-complexity, ground-up automation projects. You will lead robotic builds from kickoff through shop-floor debug to on-site commissioning, working with Fanuc, Yaskawa, and ABB platforms and Vision systems.

You will travel 30–40% domestically and internationally to deploy systems for automotive, consumer goods, and heavy industrial clients.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year or 4-year engineering degree.
• 4–6 years of industrial robotics & PLC integration experience on custom manufacturing machinery.
• Hands-on mastery of Fanuc, Yaskawa, or ABB robot platforms with PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with industrial vision systems and CAD/SolidWorks software.
• Able to diagnose and debug complex automated machinery across robotic, electrical, fluid power and mechanical domains.
• Travel 30–40% domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license and passport required.

Responsabilités

• Initialize robotic platforms and coordinate calibrations for Fanuc, ABB, or Yaskawa robots.
• Design control logic to ensure seamless handshaking with master PLCs and EOAT.
• Deploy and program industrial vision systems for guidance, inspection, and high-speed handling.
• Lead in-house assembly, wiring verification, and EOAT integration.
• Oversee field commissioning with travel up to 40% to client sites globally.
• Provide technical layouts, cycle-time analyses, and feasibility data for quotes.
• Mentor in-house technicians to optimize build workflows and meet client specs.
