Your Talent Team in the Greater Milwaukee area seeks a Senior Robotics & Controls Engineer to lead high‑complexity turnkey automation projects. You will drive ground‑up cell designs, in‑house builds, and on‑site commissioning for global manufacturing clients, delivering high impact results.

You will manage robotic platforms (Fanuc/Yaskawa/ABB), PLC handshaking, and vision integration, with 30–40% travel. A strong engineering background and a passion for precision are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–6 years of robotics, PLC, and vision integration experience.
• Proficient with Fanuc, Yaskawa, or ABB robotic platforms and PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong CAD/SolidWorks skills and vision system knowledge.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% and obtain Passport and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Initialize robotic platforms and configure I/O networks on Fanuc, ABB, or Yaskawa robots.
• Design control logic to coordinate PLCs and equipment.
• Deploy vision systems for part guidance, inspection, and handling.
• Lead in-house assembly, wiring verification, and EOAT integration.
• Execute field commissioning with 30–40% travel domestically and internationally.
• Support applications engineering with layout insights and cycle-time analyses.
• Provide mentorship to junior technicians and optimize workflows.
