Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to provide on-site and remote technical support for robot-based products, PLCs, servo and motion control systems. You will train customers, partners, and MEUS-IAD staff, serve as SME, and develop application notes and training materials.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of application experience with robot applications and products.
• Experience with Robot, PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo, Motion Control, CNC and Control Networks and other industrial automation applications.
• Ability to develop and maintain in-depth, up-to-date technical knowledge, including MEUS-IAD products, and to serve as escalated technical resource (SME).
• Technical writing skills.
• Ability to operate effectively as part of a team.
• Professional, patient, positive communication style and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for robot-based products (PLC, Servo, and Motion Control) to sales personnel focusing on key accounts.
• Develop and/or deliver technical training to customers, distributors and MEUS-IAD personnel on Mitsubishi products.
• Provide on-site application engineering and product consulting on Robots.
• Serve as SME on robot products and applications.
• Maintain technical documents and documentation on MEUS-IAD products.
