Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Systems Engineer for automation hardware and controls to design, integrate, and commission industrial automation systems used in gas turbine component manufacture and repair.

You will work with Engineering, Operations, Quality, IT/OT, and suppliers to define standards and specifications. The role emphasizes safety, maintainability, and scalable solutions across conventional and non-conventional processes, with travel up to 50% for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, PLCs, control systems, robotics, and networking.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and capital equipment projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and support industrial automation hardware including PLCs, HMIs, controllers, sensors, robotics, gantry systems, safety circuits, panels, and networks.
• Develop hardware standards, control panel specifications, and commissioning documentation.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and suppliers to ensure reliable, scalable automation solutions.
• Support FAT/SAT, installation, startup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
