Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Austin, TX, seeks a Senior Engineer/Task Lead to join the CTRMA GEC Team on roadway projects and programmatic activities. You will lead design teams, mentor staff, and manage client communications, planning, organizing, directing, and financial aspects.

Requirements include BS/MS in Civil Engineering, 7+ years of experience, TxDOT roadway design, ITS/tolling a plus, TX P.E. license, and proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoad Designer.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Must have TxDOT highway/roadway design experience.
• Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Tolling experience is a plus.
• P.E. license in TX is required.
• MicroStation, Open Road Designer.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, design, and production of engineering drawings.
• Participates in engineering investigations and planning work.
• Prepares sections of reports under supervision.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance with specifications and tracks progress.
• Performs data acquisition and analysis for design feasibility.
• Prepares materials for reports and permit applications.
• Performs engineering calculations.
• Conducts field observations of construction.
