Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Orlando, Florida office is seeking a Roadway Civil Designer with 8+ years of experience to join our Roadway team.

You will develop detailed roadway drawings using MicroStation/OpenRoads, supervise CAD staff, and ensure quality control on complex designs while collaborating with engineers and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with OpenRoads and/or MicroStation.
• Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley products.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage drafting standards using MicroStation and OpenRoads.
• Develop technical drawings and plans for Roadway projects.
• Quality check drawings of substantial complexity and perform calculations as needed.
• Supervise and train CAD staff and coordinate work to maintain schedules.
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
