Kimley-Horn is seeking a Civil Engineer with 8+ years of roadway design experience to join our Roadway team in Minnesota. The role involves developing detailed designs, managing cost estimates, and coordinating with jurisdictions and contractors.

The ideal candidate will hold a PE license (or be able to obtain within 12 months) and be proficient with Microstation, Open Roads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering design experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency with Microstation, Open Roads, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed roadway designs with the design team.
• Prepare project plans, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for roadway infrastructure projects.
• Create alignments and geometry for roads and intersections.
• Obtain permits and ensure regulatory compliance for roadway projects.
• Provide construction support and review plans.
• Monitor progress, budgets, and schedules.
