Job summary

Consor is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer / Project Engineer to provide technical leadership on roadway and highway projects in Arizona, mentoring staff and helping grow the transportation practice. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement in Phoenix or Tucson (office Mon–Wed; remote Thu–Fri) along with a competitive compensation package.

Candidates should have 10+ years of roadway experience, a PE license, and proficiency with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and Civil 3D, plus ADOT

Qualifications

• 10+ years of roadway and transportation engineering experience.
• Experience delivering projects for ADOT, counties, or municipalities.
• Knowledge of AASHTO and ADOT design standards.
• Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design for highways, arterials, interchanges, corridors, and multimodal facilities.
• Oversee preparation of plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor engineers and designers.
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
• Participate in proposals, project pursuits, and business development efforts.
