Job summary

Consor in Arizona is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer / Project Engineer to provide technical leadership on roadway and highway projects across Arizona. The role focuses on leading project delivery, mentoring staff, and growing the transportation practice.

Projected compensation ranges from $130,000 to $170,000 annually, with higher figures possible for highly experienced candidates. The position follows a hybrid schedule with in-office Mon-Wed and remote Thu-Fri.

Qualifications

10+ years of roadway and transportation engineering experience.
Experience delivering projects for ADOT, counties, or municipalities.
Knowledge of AASHTO and ADOT design standards.
Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

Lead roadway design for highways, arterials, interchanges, corridors, and multimodal facilities.
Oversee preparation of plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
Mentor engineers and designers.
Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
Participate in proposals, project pursuits, and business development efforts.
