Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer (PE) to support roadway, highway, and multimodal transportation projects across Arizona. This hybrid role offers growth toward project leadership and a compensation range of $105,000–$140,000 annually.

You will develop alignments, prepare plans and estimates, perform design calculations, and collaborate with drainage, traffic, structures, and survey teams on ADOT and local projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or in good standing.
• Minimum 5+ years of roadway or transportation engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop roadway alignments, profiles, typical sections, and cross-sections.
• Prepare plans, specifications, quantities, and costs for transportation projects.
• Perform engineering analyses and roadway design calculations.
• Coordinate with drainage, traffic, structures, survey, and utility teams.
• Support project delivery from planning through final design and construction support.
• Contribute to quality reviews and compliance with ADOT and local standards.
