Job summary

Consor is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer / Project Engineer to lead transportation projects in Arizona from Phoenix (hybrid) to Tucson and surrounding areas. The role focuses on delivering high-quality roadway design, mentoring staff, and collaborating with clients and ADOT partners to expand Consor's transportation practice.

The position offers a compensation range of $130,000 to $170,000 annually, with potential above-range consideration for highly experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of roadway and transportation engineering experience.
• Experience delivering projects for ADOT, counties, or municipalities.
• Knowledge of AASHTO and ADOT design standards.
• Proficiency with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design for highways, arterials, interchanges, corridors, and multimodal facilities.
• Oversee preparation of plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor engineers and designers.
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
• Participate in proposals, project pursuits, and business development efforts.
