HDR is seeking an experienced roadway engineer to lead urban design projects in the Mississippi region. You will oversee detailed roadway layouts, perform QA checks on major highways, and provide technical leadership across teams while coordinating with clients.

A PE license and a minimum of 10 years in roadway design are required. Ideal candidates will have expertise in urban/rural interchanges, traffic planning, and coordination of surveys and utilities.

Qualifications

• PE license recognized by the licensing board for the position location.
• Minimum of 10 years in roadway engineering design.
• Experience with urban and rural highway interchanges and intersection design.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical role in detailed development of urban roadway design projects.
• Perform QA checks on major transportation projects on interstate and state highways.
• Serve as a technical expert resolving problems of greater scope and complexity.
• Assume project management duties and interact with clients as needed.
• Supervise mid-to-large staff of professionals and technicians.
