Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager to head transportation design efforts across Rocky Mountain Region projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive road design tasks, and coordinate with clients to deliver value-added designs that meet project goals.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years in transportation design, and a track record of leading complex roadway projects. Expect regional travel and a collaborative, growth-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Current PE license; preferred states UT/NV/AZ/ID/CO/NM/WA.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• 5+ years of leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Strong leadership and client-relations skills; ability to communicate at all levels.
• Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB/PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads and integrate designs.
• Serve as integral member of project management and delivery team.
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Proficient with MicroStation OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D; ensure quality deliverables.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and team members; meet project deadlines.
