Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will hold an active Pennsylvania RN license, demonstrate strong leadership, and supervise nursing staff to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily resident care, collaborating with the Director of Nursing, and ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting residents' independence

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Approximately 2 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of resident care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes
• Partner with the Director of Nursing to maintain excellence in care delivery
• Promote resident independence by establishing and monitoring individualized goals
• Educate residents and their support systems on conditions, medications, and self-care
• Address resident needs and concerns using interdisciplinary team approaches
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards, medication administration policies, and controlled substance regulations
• Accurately document resident care and nursing services
• Maintain continuity of care through clear communication and documentation
• Monitor nursing supplies and equipment to ensure unit readiness
• Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical education
• Share in on-call responsibilities as part of a rotating schedule

Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehab Center is currently seeking an experienced and motivated RN Unit Manager to join our dedicated nursing leadership team. This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about high-quality care, team collaboration, and clinical excellence in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Have at least one year of nursing experience in a supervisory role
• Bring approximately two years of experience in long-term care or physical rehabilitation
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Foster a compassionate and respectful environment for residents and team members
