Job summary

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year as a nurse in a supervisory role.
- About 2 years in long-term care or physical rehab preferred.
- Strong leadership, team communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to support patients and families emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain excellence in service
- Educate residents and families on conditions, medications, and self-care
- Support patient independence by setting goals and promoting wellness
- Ensure compliance with infection control, medication, and safety protocols
- Document care, maintain continuity across shifts, and resolve patient needs
- Oversee nursing supplies and equipment maintenance
- Stay current through ongoing professional development
