Job summary
Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team. This role is perfect for a Registered Nurse passionate about high-quality care and teamwork in a rehabilitation setting.
The ideal candidate will have an active Pennsylvania RN license, supervisory experience, and skills in leadership and communication. We offer competitive compensation along with health and dental insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania is required.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a supervisory role.
- Approximately 2 years in long-term care or physical rehabilitation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate and respectful towards residents and team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight of resident care per facility policies.
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality outcomes.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing for care delivery.
- Promote resident independence by establishing individualized goals.
- Educate residents on conditions, medications, and self-care.
