Job summary

Orwigsburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Orwigsburg, PA is seeking enthusiastic and innovative Personal Care Assistants to join our team. This is a full-time or part-time role with 7a-3p, 3p-11p and 11p-7a shifts to support 1:1 resident interaction.

Qualifications

• Must have long term care experience.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and presents activity programs to match residents' abilities and interests.
• Invites participation and assists in transporting residents.
• Engages residents to maintain maximum daily living activities and independence.
• Ensures resident safety at all times.
• Participates in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees.

The responsibilities & duties:

• Helps resident maintain their highest level of functioning by presenting appropriate activity programs according to resident’s physical capacity, cognitive ability and interest
• Invites and encourages resident participation and assists in transporting
• Engages individual resident in maintaining maximum daily Living Functions
• Assures the safety of individual resident
• Participate in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees/programs

The Qualifications:
