Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Duluth, MN seeks an experienced RN with dialysis background to lead the day-to-day Home Therapies program in coordination with unit management and staff. You will ensure high-quality patient care, manage staff training, and help drive program growth.

You will oversee budgeting, QA, regulatory compliance, and data entry across systems, focusing on safety, caregiver training, patient experience, and KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the applicable state and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• At least 1 year dialysis experience; 3 months peritoneal; 1 year medical-surgical or ICU preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred and demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to complete dialysis training courses and maintain CPR credentials.
• Strong communication and patient-care leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, training and scheduling of home dialysis therapy delivery.
• Manage program profit and loss to meet budgets and KPIs.
• Direct patient care leadership from admission to discharge for Home Therapies patients.
• Assess home environment and train patients and caregivers on safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Support patient satisfaction initiatives and uphold company values.
• Ensure staff competency, CPR licensure and equipment troubleshooting support by phone.
• Oversee supplies and equipment tracking with timely replenishment.
• Direct QA, patient retention and clinical algorithm adoption efforts.
• Enter admissions, regulatory reporting, billing, orders, labs and vital signs into systems.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely audits.
• Orient new staff and provide ongoing education on risk management.
• Participate in Business Unit initiatives, projects and audits.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
