Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care District Heights, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse - Home Therapies to join our clinical team. As RN CAP 2 you will assess patients, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes under supervision.

You will educate patients and Home Partners on dialysis at home, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, document care plans, and participate in quality improvement activities. Required: RN licensure in state, CPR/BLS, and home dialysis experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where employed.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Previous nephrology or home dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Coordinate with direct care staff and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient/family education on dialysis at home and related equipment.
• Document nursing assessments, plans and outcomes; participate in quality improvement.
