Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Risk Management Manager to serve as the risk management leader for our Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice. You will partner closely with FAS leadership to identify and address professional, regulatory, and operational risks, while developing practical controls, workflows, and training that support engagements from intake through case closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in risk management, quality control, compliance, or a related function within a professional services organization, such as a CPA firm, law firm, or consulting firm.
• A working understanding of restructuring, bankruptcy, complex litigation, or other financial advisory engagements, including Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (ABC) matters, and the engagement risks specific to these areas of practice.
• Working knowledge of independence and conflicts‑of‑interest requirements applicable to a professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk guidance to FAS engagement teams across restructuring, bankruptcy, complex litigation, and other financial advisory engagements.
• Develop and manage risk controls, policies, and training from intake through case closure.
• Coordinate with Office of General Counsel, firm risk management, and outside counsel on matters requiring legal review and approval.
