Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior leader to develop and implement the long-term vision for Fraud Product and Operations. This role manages personnel and workflow to maximize efficiency, focusing on client experience, reputational risk, compliance, and operational risk. You will guide FP&O teams and act as deputy when needed.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 10 years in banking or fraud systems, and at least 5 years in management. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and related experience.
• 10 years banking or fraud systems experience.
• Analytical and problem solving with limited supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with senior leaders.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
• Prior fraud experience in financial services across products/channels.
• Minimum 5 years in a management role.
• Proven leadership and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in daily operational activities to meet deadlines and service levels.
• Lead and mentor teammates for growth and readiness for increased responsibilities.
• Make recommendations on employment, development, performance, and promotions.
• Direct personnel to adhere to standardized processes supporting goals.
• Ensure policy compliance for internal and external audits.
• Manage process improvements including mapping, analysis, and re-engineering.
• Prepare and communicate department level reporting for volumes and projects.
• Plan and develop departmental budgets and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Serve as SME and provide guidance to FP&O peers and other units.
• Serve as back-up to Deputy Director.
