Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation seeks an experienced proposal professional to write and lead activities for complex RFPs under tight deadlines. The role requires coordinating multiple departments and ensuring detailed customer specifications are met.

The ideal candidate will manage the proposal process end-to-end, extract key insights from solicitations, and tailor responses for national/major client groups while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field; 3 years of proposal management experience or 7 years of proposal writing experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex RFPs for large, national employer groups.
• Must review solicitations and extract pertinent information for proposals.
• Experience supporting highly customized proposal responses for clients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Write and lead activities for complex RFPs under strict deadlines.
• Participate in resolving issues in the RFP process with follow-through.
• Coordinate projects independently with detailed customer specifications.
• Assist internal departments in creating pricing proposals and ad hoc documents.
• Support the Proposal Content Administrator with proposal-ready materials.
