Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Apopka, FL is seeking a Sr Principal RFIC Design Engineer to lead the design and development of RF LNA and switches for cellular applications, with potential SOI and BiCMOS technologies.

You will collaborate with layout designers and internal customers to optimize the RF chain and deliver high-performance modules. Required qualifications include an MSEE or PhD in RF, 10+ years in LNA/RFIC, and strong experience with HFSS, Cadence, and ADS plus RF measurements.

Qualifications

MSEE or PhD in RF related field.
10+ years of experience in LNA and/or RFIC designs.
Extensive experience designing with HFSS, Cadence, and ADS.
Strong background with RF measurements and characterization.

Responsibilities

Design and develop RF LNA and switches for cellular applications using SOI and BiCMOS technologies.
Support standalone LNA and switch modules and integration into a multi-chip module (MCM).
Collaborate with internal module customers on die deliverables and RF chain optimization.
Work with layout designers to apply best practices for layout and RF performance.
Create test laminates and work with lab techs to troubleshoot measurements and perform sim-vs-meas correlation.
