Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer to lead RF switch and LNA design for mobile handset applications.

The role involves collaboration with a cross-functional team including program management, layout, characterization, reliability, quality, and logistics to deliver next-generation RF products on schedule. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in RF/RFIC design, a BSEE (MSEE preferred), and strong Cadence experience with RF measurements.

Qualifications

• BSEE degree required; MSEE preferred.
• 10+ years in switch, LNA and/or RFIC design.
• Proven Cadence experience with layout and RF simulations.
• Experience mitigating parasitics with EM tools (HFSS/ADS).
• Strong RF measurement and characterization skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform RFIC design and detailed circuit work for RF switches and LNA.
• Support analog block design (LDOs, charge pumps, level shifters).
• Manage design trade-offs: performance, size, cost, time to market.
