Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior RF Manufacturing Test Engineer for the Electromagnetic Warfare team in Irvine, CA.

You will own production test flow, troubleshoot complex issues, and scale automated test strategies while ensuring high‑quality, through‑put production. The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing test, strong data analytics, and collaboration across design, quality, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
• Experience with contract manufacturers in the testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies. Thorough knowledge of PCBA testing standards and methods.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
• Strong root cause analysis skills of non‑conforming hardware.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiar with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES)
• Experience working on projects that involve the integration of electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own production test flow and perform hands‑on troubleshooting during testing.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system checks to component validation.
• Improve automation, consistency, and test coverage to reduce cycle time.
• Generate and train technicians on test work instructions in MES.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Determine root cause and implement corrective actions (RCCA).
• Support returns and failure analysis with design and manufacturing teams.
• Contribute to early‑stage test design for NPI test processes.
• Analyze test data and provide detailed reports identifying defects.
• Collaborate with design engineers for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision.
• Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
• Execute testing as required.
