Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer in California to design, analyze, and implement RF test plans for satellite and aerospace systems. You will work with cross‑functional teams to build reusable test architectures and automate test procedures.

The role requires strong RF measurement skills, hands‑on experience with lab instruments, and excellent written and verbal communication. On‑site collaboration and ongoing evaluation of test assets are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4 years with a master’s degree; RF test systems experience required.
• High proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM, etc.).
• Test architecture design and development including scripting, test executives, hardware, and measurement abstraction layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and implement RF test plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with design and test teams to map requirements to reusable test architectures.
• Log and present results to stakeholders; participate in design-for-test planning.
• Lab and equipment management; guide equipment purchases.
