Job summary

CesiumAstro in Westminster, MD is seeking a Staff RF Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement comprehensive RF test systems for satellite and aerospace applications. You will lead test architecture development, collaborate with design and test teams, and present results to stakeholders with clear, data‑driven insights.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of RF testing experience, strong proficiency with RF measurements and lab instruments, and excellent written and verbal communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of RF test system design, analysis, and implementation.
• High proficiency with RF measurements (linearity, NSD, EVM).
• Experience with test architecture design including scripting and hardware.
• Proficient in conducted RF measurements (S-parameters, AM/PM, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and implement RF test plans and procedures.
• Develop reusable test architectures and procedures.
• Log and present results to stakeholders.
• Manage lab equipment and influence purchase decisions.
• Present engineering design review materials to customers and leadership.
