Job summary

CesiumAstro is building cutting-edge RF hardware for satellites and aerospace platforms. The Senior RF Engineer will drive RF circuit design from concept to qualification, working on phased array front-ends, frequency converters, and beamformers in a startup-like environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on schematic design, PCB layout, simulations, and test design, with opportunities to present designs to customers and senior leadership, while contributing to proposals and ongoing product

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of RF electronics design experience.
• Experience with CST, ADS, and Altium.
• Hands-on experience with vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design RF circuits and block diagrams for satellite hardware.
• Perform RF simulations, testing, and troubleshooting across development stages.
• Lead design reviews and write proposal materials for customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on phased array systems and antenna design.
