Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to design RF circuits and systems for satellites and aerospace platforms. The role covers full development life cycle from concept to testing and in-orbit support, including soldering through to system-level link budgets and modulation schemes.

The candidate will work on RF front-ends, synthesizers, filters, beamformers, and phased array antennas, with hands-on schematic and PCB responsibilities and opportunities to present to customers and leadership.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of industry experience in RF electronics design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CST and ADS, and Altium.

Responsibilities

• Design RF circuits and systems through all development phases—from concept to in-orbit support.
• Create block diagrams, detailed schematics, and PCB layouts for RF front-ends, synthesizers, filters, and phased array components.
• Present design reviews to customers and executives; contribute to proposals and technical writings.
