Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area seeks a Sr Electrical Engineer for RF systems to drive design and test of space-rated communications hardware. You will own circuitry from concept through flight readiness, collaborating with RF, DSP, FPGA, and software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus 8+ years of experience or a Master’s with 6+ years.
• Experience with high-speed mixed-signal circuits and aerospace applications.
• PCB layout for high-speed ADCs/DACs/PLLs/FPGA with SI/PI considerations.
• Ability to conduct worst-case analysis and FMEA for space hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop analog, digital, and power circuits for RF systems including SDRs and LNA/PA stages.
• Own product lifecycle from concept through flight readiness with quality and performance.
• Design, manufacture, and test high-reliability RF PCBs and assemblies.
• Develop power management solutions like DC/DC converters for harsh environments.
• Create test plans and perform lab verification; root-cause analysis of discrepancies.
• Coordinate with thermal, mechanical, and radiation teams for qualification.
