Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Lunar RF Systems group on Merritt Island, FL. You will design mixed-signal circuits, RF hardware, and space-rated communications products, owning interfaces across mechanical, systems, and software teams through full lifecycle from concept to flight readiness.

The role emphasizes high-speed, high-reliability design, with opportunities to influence parts selection, testing, and qualification within a safety- and mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience or Master's with 6+ years.
• Experience with high-speed mixed-signal circuits including ADCs/DACs, PLLs, DDRs, and FPGAs.
• Knowledge of signal and power integrity, grounding for high-speed digital applications.
• Experience with Worst-case analysis, FMEA, and circuit simulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop analog, digital, and power circuits for RF systems including software-defined radios and low-noise amplifiers.
• Own full product lifecycle from concept to flight readiness with quality at every stage.
• Design and checkout high-reliability PCBs for RF systems applications.
• Create test plans and perform lab verification and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate across RF, mechanical, thermal, and radiation testing disciplines.
