Blue Origin's Lunar RF Systems group seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design mixed-signal electronics for space-rated communications products, from concept through flight readiness. You will work with RF hardware, antenna, DSP, FPGA, and software engineers across the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience or Master's with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience developing high-speed mixed-signal circuits for aerospace applications.
• Schematic and PCB layout for high-speed ADCs, DACs, PLLs, DDRs, NAND/NOR flash, and FPGAs.
• Knowledge of signal and power integrity and grounding topologies for high-speed digital applications.
• Worst-case analysis, FEA, and FMEA experience.
• Experience with SI tools such as Hyperlynx or Ansys SIWave.
• Experience with Altium Designer for complex PCBs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analog, digital, and power circuits for RF systems including software-defined radios and amplifiers.
• Own full product lifecycle from concept to flight readiness with quality and performance focus.
• Design and checkout of high-reliability PCBs for RF Systems.
• Develop efficient power management solutions (DC/DC converters) for harsh environments.
• Perform stress and worst-case analysis to ensure robustness.
• Create and review schematics, layouts, and BOMs.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and execute lab verification and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with thermal, mechanical, and radiation testing teams.
• Work with Technical Program Management on parts selection and procurement.
