Job summary

Blue Origin’s Lunar RF Systems group seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design mixed-signal electronics for space-rated communications products, guiding them from concept to flight readiness. You will craft analog/digital/power circuits for RF systems, develop high-reliability PCBs in Altium, and collaborate with RF, DSP, FPGA teams across the full lifecycle.

The role emphasizes reliability in harsh environments, signal/power integrity, and leadership in cross-disciplinary teams to deliver

Qualifications

• The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience or a Master's with 6+ years.
• Experience with high-speed mixed-signal circuits, part selection, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting for aerospace.
• Experience in circuit design, PCB layout for high-speed ADCs/DACs/PLLs/FPGA and signal/power integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analog, digital, and power circuits for RF systems and software-defined radios.
• Own the full lifecycle from concept to flight-ready hardware and test.
• Design and checkout of high-reliability PCBs.
• Develop power management (DC/DC) for harsh environments.
• Create test plans and perform root-cause analyses.
• Coordinate with thermal, mechanical, radiation testing, and PM teams.
