Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer for an onsite Tucson, AZ role. You will design transmitters, receivers and RCAs, work in a lab, and support module verification. A strong background in RF design, testing, and simulation is required, along with the ability to obtain an interim clearance and ultimately a DoD clearance.

Relocation may be offered. Candidates must have a bachelor’s in STEM and at least five years of relevant RF experience and tools proficiency with Mentor DX, HFSS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and 5+ years of RF design experience.
• Experience with RF testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF simulations and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab characterization, module verification and integration.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital and mechanical teams.
