Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal RF Sensor Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) to lead RF sensor development for advanced missile programs in an onsite Tucson, AZ role. You will drive subsystem requirements, perform design modeling, and support integration and testing across programs.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage supplier relationships while maintaining critical artifacts and ensuring quality and schedule commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF hardware development (antennas, CCAs, subsystems) preferred.
• Experience working with suppliers or subcontractors to develop complex hardware.
• Experience interpreting engineering requirements and verifying hardware compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier development of RF sensors and measurement equipment.
• Serve as liaison between supplier and program to align technical, cost, and schedule.
• Coordinate stakeholder design reviews and hardware acceptance.
