Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced RF engineering leader in Tucson, AZ to drive the Effector RF Design Team on radar hardware development. The role focuses on leading a multi-disciplinary team, overseeing supplier engagement, and delivering performance-aligned hardware.

The candidate should have a STEM degree and 8+ years' experience in RF/Radar hardware design and program management, with willingness to travel and obtain/maintain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with project task definition, cost and schedule tracking (Earned Value Management).
• Technical oversight of RF hardware suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplined engineering team for complex RF sensor development and integration.
• Provide technical management and oversight of suppliers, including design, build, deliveries, and issue resolution.
• Conduct complex performance assessments to verify component requirements meet mission performance.
• Ensure technical performance, cost, and schedule alignment between supplier and program activities.
