Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior RF Sensor Responsible Engineering Authority to lead RF sensor development for advanced missile programs. You will drive subsystem requirements, model designs, and support integration and test efforts.

The role requires RF hardware experience, DoD clearance readiness, and collaboration with suppliers, program leadership, and customers to ensure technical and schedule success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with electrical hardware development (RF components, antennas or CCAs).
• Direct experience with suppliers or subcontractors to develop complex hardware.
• Demonstrated ownership of products or tasks and requirement interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier development of RF sensors and measurement equipment.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews of data, changes, and hardware acceptance.
• Identify risks and mitigations for RF sensor development.
• Support lab and field testing, and root‑cause analysis for RF sensors.
• Maintain artifacts such as requirements, HUM, and SSOW; travel monthly for reviews.
