Job summary

RTX's Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and sensor ranges. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams to define requirements, analyze and validate range capabilities, and oversee new ranges and chambers deployment.

You will work with government programs to shape technology roadmaps, mentor colleagues, and ensure compliance with DoD security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with testing antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and/or RCS ranges/chambers
• Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc. to define, analyze, simulate, implement, and evaluate requirements for ranges and/or chambers, including relevant test equipment
• Work with chamber/range equipment and service suppliers
• Oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers
