RTX is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ to lead the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and sensor ranges. The role is onsite in Tucson and requires collaboration across thermal, structural, mechanical, and systems teams.

You will guide technology roadmaps, work with government personnel to define and refine requirements, and mentor staff while ensuring range compliance and modernization initiatives. U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with testing antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range.
• Operation of an antenna, radome, and/or RCS chamber/range.
• Experience with antenna and/or sensor measurement theory and range operation.
• Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.

Responsabilidades

• Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and/or RCS ranges/chambers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define, analyze, simulate, implement, and evaluate requirements for ranges and chambers.
• Oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other employees across the business within the candidate’s areas of expertise.
