RTX is seeking a highly skilled Principal Sensor Engineer to lead RF sensor calibration for advanced missile contracts in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on RF antenna technology, design verification, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet stringent performance requirements.

This onsite position requires a DoD Secret clearance and offers a strong benefits package, with relocation assistance based on eligibility and security adjudication processes.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with antenna design, including concept trades/studies, preliminary and final design, and/or qualification processes.
• Experience with broad range of RF sensor measurements and in evaluating post-processed data.

Responsabilités

• Drive development and design of specialized RF sensor hardware and performance requirements.
• Coordinate with thermal, structural, mechanical and systems teams for design compliance.
• Analyze simulation and test data to verify performance against requirements.
• Create and review documentation for RF sensor systems, analyses, schematics, interface drawings, test plans, and specs.
• Collaborate with RF sensor manufacturing suppliers as subject matter expert.
• Evaluate RF sensor designs to mitigate performance risks.
